ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Arrival at Callaway Gardens:

Depart from The Villages and travel to Pine Mountain, Georgia, with planned stops along the way for rest and refreshments. Make your own leather ornament at our stop at White Oak Pastures Farm & General Store, where lunch is included.  Upon arrival, check in at The Lodge & Spa at Callaway Gardens, a Four Diamond award-winning resort featuring modern guestrooms with balconies overlooking the lake, woods, or gardens. In the evening, enjoy a group welcome dinner at the Piedmont Dining Room, offering delicious Southern-inspired cuisine in an elegant setting. Relax and soak in the peaceful holiday ambiance afterward.

Day 2 – Callaway Gardens Holiday Festivities

After breakfast at the lodge, immerse yourself in the festive spirit with a visit to Callaway Christmas Village, famous for its charming holiday decorations and seasonal treats. Browse the lively Christmas Market for unique gifts, crafts, and snacks. Experience the Birds of Prey show featuring hawks, owls, and falcons in flight. Explore the colorful Butterfly House, home to hundreds of tropical butterflies. Enjoy the beauty of Callaway Gardens adorned in holiday décor, and listen to carols played on the grand organ in the Memorial Chapel, surrounded by stained glass windows and towering Georgia pines. As night falls, marvel at the dazzling Fantasy in Lights® Show, one of the largest holiday light displays in the country.

Day 3 – Roosevelt’s Little White House & Return

After breakfast, depart for a guided tour of Roosevelt’s Little White House, the historic retreat of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Learn about this iconic landmark and its role in American history. Following the visit, begin the journey back to The Villages with comfort stops along the way.

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.

All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.

Prices are per person. Rates and space are subject to availability. A minimum number of people is required for the trip to commence.
