ITINERARY:

Day 1:   The Villages ~ Asheville, NC:

Depart from 761 Hoopfer Way- located off Rolling Acres Rd. You may leave your car here.

Journey north into the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Rest and meal stops will be made periodically. 

By evening, we’ll arrive in charming Asheville, North Carolina, where a warm and welcoming group dinner awaits at a local favorite restaurant. Settle in and unwind for a restful overnight stay. (dinner included)

Day 2: Biltmore Estate & Hymn Sing at The Cove:
After breakfast, (included) we’ll set out to discover the magnificent Biltmore House and Estate, America’s largest privately owned home. Stroll through elegant rooms and colorful gardens at your own pace, soaking in the rich history and beauty. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Stable Café or Courtyard Market right on the estate grounds.

In the afternoon, be inspired by a special Hymn Sing at The Cove, Billy Graham’s peaceful retreat nestled among the mountains. The evening is yours to explore Asheville’s delightful downtown and dine on your own at S&W Market, offering a variety of delicious options.

Day 3: Smoky Mountain Railroad & Bryson City:
Fuel up with breakfast before our mountain adventure daytrip. Today we’ll board the scenic Smoky Mountain Railroad for a memorable ride through breathtaking landscapes. A boxed lunch will be served on board as you take in the views. Enjoy time to sit back in an Adirondack chair by the tranquil Nantahala River during our picturesque layover.

Back in Bryson City, browse unique shops and galleries at your leisure. We’ll gather in the evening for a relaxing dinner together at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included this day)

Day 4: Billy Graham Library & NASCAR Hall of Fame:
After breakfast (included), we’ll say goodbye to Asheville and travel east to vibrant Charlotte. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch on your own at the Billy Graham Library café before exploring the inspiring exhibits celebrating the life and ministry of America’s beloved pastor.

Later, step into the excitement of racing history at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, filled with fascinating displays and interactive experiences.

The evening is free to sample dinner on your own at the lively Market at 7th Street, where you can choose from many delicious options.

Day 5: Return to The Villages:
After breakfast (included), we’ll bid a fond farewell to North Carolina and begin our comfortable journey home. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and rest breaks to ensure a relaxed trip. By evening, you’ll arrive back in The Villages with wonderful memories of a special time shared with friends!

  • A $600 deposit (per person) is required upon booking. Deposit is refundable until February 27, less a $150.00 per person cancellation fee.

Meet & Greet: TBA- at Wildwood Community Center

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.

All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.

Prices are per person. Rates and space are subject to availability. A minimum number of people is required for the trip to commence. Specified inclusions i.e. hotels, restaurants, shows, etc. are subject to change. Cancellation penalties will apply. Bus driver and Host gratuities are not included.
