ITINERARY:
Day 1: The Villages ~ Charlotte, NC:
Depart from 761 Hoopfer Way- located off Rolling Acres Rd. You may leave your car here.
Journey north into the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Rest and meal stops will be made periodically.
Arrive in Charlotte by evening and check in at the Drury Inn & Suites Arrowood. Enjoy the included dinnertime snacks and drinks at the hotel, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a variety of tasty options. Settle in for a restful overnight stay.
Day 2: NASCAR Hall of Fame and Billy Graham Library & Homeplace
After breakfast, we will head to the Billy Graham Library and Homeplace. You will have time to explore the grounds and exhibits celebrating the life and ministry of America’s beloved pastor. Enjoy lunch and ice cream on your own at the Dairy Bar and Café. Later, step into the excitement of racing history at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, filled with fascinating displays and interactive experiences. We will then make our way to Asheville, NC for our three-night stay. The evening is yours to explore the delightful downtown and dine on your own at S&W Market, offering a variety of delicious options.
In the afternoon, be inspired by a special Hymn Sing at The Cove, Billy Graham’s peaceful retreat nestled among the mountains. The evening is yours to explore Asheville’s delightful downtown and dine on your own at S&W Market, offering a variety of delicious options.
Day 3: NC Arboretum, Biltmore Estate, Antler Hill Village Wine Tasting & Dinner
After breakfast, we will make a stop at the North Carolina Arboretum. After our morning strolling the gardens, we make our way to discover the magnificent Biltmore House and Estate, America’s largest privately owned home. Stroll through elegant rooms and colorful gardens at your own pace, soaking in the rich history and beauty. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Stable Café or Courtyard Market right on the estate grounds. In the late afternoon we will head to Antler Hill Village for an exclusive wine tasting and dinner at Cedric’s Tavern.
Day 4: Smoky Mountain Railroad, Bryson City, and Luminere Light Show at Biltmore:
Fuel up with breakfast before our mountain adventure daytrip. We start our day browsing unique shops and galleries in Bryson City. We then board the scenic Smoky Mountain Railroad for a memorable ride through breathtaking landscapes. A boxed lunch will be served on board as you take in the views. Enjoy time to sit back in an Adirondack chair by the tranquil Nantahala River during our picturesque layover. We then head back to Biltmore Estate for dinner at the Stable Café before taking in the new Luminere Light Show on the Biltmore grounds. Luminere is a new immersive outdoor evening spectacular transforming the Biltmore House and Gardens into a magical canvas of light, motion, sound, and storytelling.
Day 5: Return to The Villages:
After breakfast (included), we’ll bid a fond farewell to North Carolina and begin our comfortable journey home. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and rest breaks to ensure a relaxed trip. By evening, you’ll arrive back in The Villages with wonderful memories of a special time shared with friends!

A $600 deposit (per person) is required upon booking. Deposit is refundable until February 27, less a $150.00 per person cancellation fee.
Final payment is due Friday, February 27. Entire cost is non-refundable after this date.

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.
Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.
All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.
Prices are per person. Rates and space are subject to availability. A minimum number of people is required for the trip to commence.
