ITINERARY:

Day 1:   The Villages ~ Chattanooga, Tennessee ~ Welcome Dinner: 

Depart from 761 Hoopfer Way- located off Rolling Acres Rd. You may leave your car here.

Travel aboard a deluxe highway coach for Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Rest and meal stops will be made periodically. 

Later today we gather for dinner at a local restaurant.  Overnight in downtown Chattanooga.

Day 2: Nashville ~ Gaylord Opryland Resort ~ Grand Ole Opry:

After breakfast we head for Nashville, Tennessee.  Enjoy free time for lunch, shopping and sightseeing in downtown Nashville which features lively Honkytonk clubs, great restaurants and specialty shops.

Later today arrive at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort for a memorable two-night stay.  The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center offers guests all the excitement and energy of the Christmas season in Music City under one spectacular roof.  Nestled in a bend of the meandering Cumberland River, this exquisite resort features an extraordinary selection of dining, shopping and recreational activities underneath signature glass atriums including nine acres of lush indoor gardens and cascading waterfalls. 

This evening we are treated to an exciting and entertaining performance at the Grand Ole Opry. Beginning in 1925 the Grand Ole Opry is the country’s longest-running continuous radio program and features many well-known country music stars. 

Day 3: Nashville City Tour ~ Resort Activities ~ Gaylord’s Christmas Dinner Show:  Enjoy breakfast at the resort and then embark on a guided city tour of Nashville.  As Tennessee’s capital city, Nashville is the hub of state government but also a cultural metropolis and country music epicenter of the world.  Often referred to as the “Athens of the South”, Nashville takes its affiliation with Greece seriously.  Highlights on our tour will include the Parthenon, Vanderbilt University, State Capitol building and Centennial Park. 

Later today return to resort for an afternoon at leisure.  Our package includes admission to ICE, a spectacular ice sculpture display, and a ticket to ride the Delta River Flatboat. During the holiday season the resort is decorated with nearly two million dazzling Christmas lights and a beautiful Outdoor Nativity Display. 

This evening we are treated to a memorable evening at the Gaylord’s annual Christmas Dinner Show - included.  

Day 4:  Gaylord Resort at Leisure ~ General Jackson Showboat Luncheon Cruise ~ Chattanooga:  This morning we depart the hotel and travel into downtown Nashville where we board the General Jackson Showboat and embark on a delightful luncheon cruise along the scenic Cumberland River.  Enjoy a delicious lunch and wonderful entertainment aboard this lovely four-deck paddle-wheel riverboat. 

Later this afternoon we travel back to the Chattanooga area for the final overnight.

Day 5:  Tennessee ~ Journey Home:  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.  Later this morning we leave Tennessee and begin our journey home. 

Rest and meal stops will be made periodically.

A $500 deposit (per person) is required upon booking. Deposit is refundable until October 11, 2023, less a 10% restocking fee. After final payment is made, entire cost becomes non-refundable.

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.

All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.

Prices are per person. Rates and space are subject to availability. A minimum number of people is required for the trip to commence.
