ITINERARY:

Day 1: The Villages, FL ~ Nashville, Tennessee ~ Country Musical Capital:

Depart 761 Hoopfer Way- located off Rolling Acres Road. You may leave your car here.

Travel aboard a deluxe motorcoach departing for Nashville, Tennessee. Rest and meal stops will be made periodically.

Later today we arrive at our centrally located downtown hotel, the Springhill Suites by Marriott.  Enjoy a memorable two-night stay in the heart of Music City.

Day 2: :  Nashville Trolley Tour ~ Nashville at Leisure ~ Grand Ole Opry

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel (included) and then enjoy the day exploring Nashville on a guided hop on-hop off trolley tour. Beginning on Broadway optional stops include Ryman Auditorium, Capitol View, Centennial Park, Farmers Market, The Gulch, Belmont Mansion, Frist Art Museum, Marathon Motor Works, Legislative Plaza and Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum.  Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure in downtown Nashville.  Conveniently located near our hotel are restaurants, cafes, Honky Tonks, saloons, specialty shops and attractions.

This evening we attend the world-renowned Grand Ole Opry.  Beginning in 1925 the Grand Ole Opry is the country’s longest-running continuous radio program and features many well-known country music stars.

Day 3: General Jackson Showboat Luncheon Cruise ~ Memphis, Tennessee:

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel - included. Later this morning we board the beautiful General Jackson Showboat and embark on a delightful luncheon cruise along the winding, scenic Cumberland River. Enjoy a delicious lunch (included) featuring some of the finest Southern style cuisine and wonderful toe-tapping entertainment aboard this lovely four-deck paddle-wheel riverboat.

Later this afternoon we leave Nashville and journey to Memphis for a delightful two-night stay at the Guest House at Graceland Resort. The Guest House at Graceland is just steps away from the music world’s most important and beloved landmark, Graceland. A perfect blend of style and Southern hospitality, The Guest House is a whole new way to experience Memphis — the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll and Home of the Blues. Day 4: Graceland Sights & Sounds:

Breakfast at the hotel – included. Spend the day exploring and enjoying Graceland. Your Elvis Experience Tour features Graceland Mansion Audio-Guided Tour with New Orientation Film, full access to state-of-the-art Visitor Entertainment Complex, Elvis Presley Car Museum, Elvis: The Entertainer Career Showcase Museum and Elvis’ two custom airplanes. Immerse yourself in Elvis’ incredible career through hundreds of artifacts and photos from significant events in his life, as you tour the extensive Graceland Archives, including Elvis’ amazing collection of gold and platinum records, his stunning jumpsuits, and other clothing, memorabilia from his movies, and more! Walk among some of Elvis’ favorite automobiles, including his iconic Pink Cadillac, Stutz Blackhawk, 1956 Cadillac Eldorado, Dino Ferrari, Mercedes Benz limousine, Rolls Royce sedans and more. Day 5: Memphis Sights ~ Peabody Hotel ~ Beale Street ~ Sun Studio: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel (included) and then travel into downtown Memphis and embark on a guided city tour. Travel along the mighty Mississippi River past the Memphis Pyramid and National Civil Rights Museum.  Travel down Beale Street, one of the most iconic streets in America, and stop at the Peabody Hotel to see the famous “Ducks.”  Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping on Beale Street.  This afternoon we visit Sun Studio, the place where 18-year-old Elvis Presley recorded his first song. Recognized as "The Birthplace of Rock 'N' Roll" and the most famous recording studio in the world, Sun Studio was opened by rock pioneer Sam Phillips in 1950.  Many other musicians including Jerry Lee Lewis, B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison started their recording careers here at Sun Studio.

Later we depart Memphis and begin our journey home. Enjoy dinner (included) and overnight at the Holiday Inn Guin, Alabama.

Day 6:  Journey Home:  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel - included.  This morning we leave western Alabama and begin our journey home.  Rest and meal stops will be made periodically.

  • A $600 deposit (per person) is required upon booking. Deposit is refundable until February 6, less a 10% restocking fee.

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.

All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.
