Day 1: The Villages ~ Jekyll Iland ~ Savannah, Georgia ~ Welcome Dinner:

Depart aboard a luxury motor coach and travel north to the Atlantic coast.  Enjoy a stop in the Golden Isles region of Georgia and to Jekyll Island.  Purchased in 1886 by some of the most prominent East Coast millionaires, Jekyll Island became an exclusive vacation spot for the rich and famous. Enjoy a guided tour through this beautiful historic district. Later this afternoon we journey to Savannah for a delightful two-night stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Historic District Hotel.  Gather for dinner at a local restaurant - included.

Day 2: St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration:

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel - included. Today we enjoy the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of the largest in America.  This spectacular event, based on Savannah’s rich Irish heritage, features wonderful marching bands, traditional dancers, and elaborate floats.  Recognized as Savannah’s largest and most popular event, people from all over the world flock to the city to participate in this 200-year-old celebration.  Our VIP package at Debi’s Restaurant includes buffet breakfast and luncheon, three drink vouchers, unlimited green beer, private restrooms and reserved bleacher seating on Bay Street. 

Day 3: Savannah Trolley Tour ~ Savannah at Leisure ~ Journey Home:

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel - included.  Rich in cultural history, Savannah features elegant architecture, rare antiques and majestic gardens.  Enjoy a delightful trolley tour of the downtown area featuring many colorful town squares which were originally designed by General James Oglethorpe.  Enjoy the balance of the day exploring Savannah with hop-on/hop-off trolley passes or shopping and sightseeing along the beautiful riverfront area. Later this afternoon we begin our journey home.

Workman Transportation uses their own deluxe motor coaches. They are driven by drivers certified and licensed for motor coach transportation. Our motor coaches are air conditioned, equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors, on-board restroom, and reclining seats.

Our hosts are experienced and will help make your trip enjoyable. They will give you lots of information along the way to make the traveling time fun and interesting. We will strive to keep you comfortable by having rest stops every two to two and 1/2 hours in the schedule.

All tours require some walking and the ability to embark/disembark a motor-coach without assistance. Advance notice is required for special dietary requests and handicap seating.
