Mount Dora is lit up with millions of sparkling lights every holiday season. Join us for the “Christmas Walk”, a street party in downtown Mount Dora featuring music, food vendors, toy vendors, and shopping (shops open until 9:00 pm).

Entertainment includes (subject to change for 2025), Mount Dora High School jazz band, carolers, stilt walkers, jugglers, and more! While you are strolling around, make sure to visit the Mount Dora Boating Center & Marina, their display is always outstanding.

If you would like to have dinner at a restaurant in Mount Dora, we suggest making a reservation, as it is expected to be a busy evening.

This event takes place on pavement that may be un-even at times. The amount of walking will be up to you.

*There are two buses for this trip. One bus will depart and return to Lake Sumter Landing, one will depart and return to Brownwood. You will select your bus/departure location at checkout.

Itinerary:

4:00 pm- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

4:00 pm- Depart Brownwood - located behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

5:10 pm- Arrive in Mount Dora

6:00 pm- Event Begins

9:15 pm- Depart Mount Dora

10:15 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages.

Price includes transportation bus driver tip and a bottle of water. Host Gratuity is not included.
