The tour starts at the World Equestrian Center where you will get an overview of where to eat and shop after touring Horse Country.

Then its back on the bus for an adventure to 3 locations

1. Tour of the top Arabian Breeding Farm in the USA

2. Tour of Florida Thoroughbred Museum

3. Behind the scenes action at Ocala Breeders Sale Yearling Auction 

The owner of Conway Arabians will lead the group on a tour of her magnificent 194-acre farm to meet Arabians of all life stages and watch the trainers. There is a lot of interaction with the horses at this location.

Then to The Florida Owners an Breeders Association Museum to learn about why Ocala is “ The Horse Capital of the World”

Just next door is Ocala Breeders Sale where there will be a behind the scenes tour during the Auction. 

Then back to The World Equestrian Center for lunch on your own!

TERMS: There is a lot of walking on this tour, closed toed shoes required.

Itinerary:

8:00 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

8:20 am- Depart Brownwood - behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

Around 1:00 pm- Lunch at World Equestrian Center (purchase on your own)

4:00 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, bus driver tip and a bottle of water. Host gratuity is not included.
