Discover Marion County, the Horse Capital of the world! The tour starts at the World Equestrian Center where we will get an overview of where to eat lunch, shop and how to watch the Dressage Competitions after the Farm Tour.

Then its back on the bus for an adventure to 3 locations:

• Tour of the Ocala Breeders Sales Training Track

• Tour of Florida Thoroughbred Museum

• Thoroughbred Breeding Farm 

It is foaling season so you will see baby horses, and maybe a wobbly newborn at the farm. You will meet Million Dollar Stallions, foals with their mothers and retired champions. There is lots of hands-on interaction with the horses!

TERMS: There is a lot of walking on this tour, closed toed shoes required.

Itinerary:

8:00 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

8:20 am- Depart Brownwood - behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

12/12:30 pm- Lunch at World Equestrian Center (purchase on your own)

3:00 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, bus driver tip and a bottle of water. Host gratuity is not included.
