Travel the Indian River Lagoon on this 2-hour journey with a certified Florida naturalist who will share information about the lagoon’s wildlife through narration and hands-on specimens.

Dolphins, manatees (seasonal), wading birds and sea turtles are often seen during these tours. As our captain skillfully navigates the backwaters of the lagoon, you will experience Florida’s natural beauty while learning about conservation efforts to preserve and protect North America’s most biologically diverse estuary.

After the boat tour, spend the afternoon on the charming Flagler Avenue which dead ends into gorgeous New Smyrna Beach. Enjoy a delicious lunch, do a little shopping, and take a walk on the famous New Smyrna Beach!

Itinerary:

7:30 am- Depart Brownwood - located behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

7:50 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

9:45 am - Arrive at boat dock

10:00 am - Boat Tour

12:30 pm - Flagler Avenue, New Smyrna Beach

3:15 pm- Board Bus for The Villages

5:15 pm– Approximate arrival in The Villages
