St. Petersburg, which glimmers between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay is a waterfront escape with so many things to do!

The St. Pete Pier offers waterfront restaurants, a vendor and artisan marketplace, public green space, a fishing deck, public art, and the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center.

Afterwards we will visit the famous Mazzaro’s Italian Market in St. Petersburg. Purchase freshly made pastas, bakery items, homemade to-go meals or just have a scoop of authentic italian gelato. Don’t forget your coolers to store all the yummy goods!

Itinerary:

8:15 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

8:35 am- Depart Brownwood- behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

10:30 am- Arrive at St. Pete Pier

1:30 pm- Board bus for Mazzaro’s (20-minute drive)

3:30 pm- Depart Mazzaro’s

5:30 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, bus driver tip and a bottle of water. Host gratuity is not included.
