"The House That Hats Built” and “Florida’s Most Historic Home” - The Stetson Mansion. We will have a guided tour from a friendly guide as they share historic stories and amazing accomplishments. 95% of the original mansion exists in this magnificent home for the ages. You will tour the first floor, second floor and Zen guest cottage (formerly the schoolhouse.) Your tour will visit the owner’s private quarters, including their bedroom, bathroom and secret closet. The Grand Tour includes the 3rd floor which has three more bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, the boardroom and Stetson room.

After our tour, you may enjoy lunch and shopping in quaint downtown Deland. (on your own- suggestions will be given)

Itinerary:

8:30 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

8:50 am - Depart Brownwood -behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

10:30 am- Tour

12:30 pm- Depart Mansion for lunch and shopping in downtown Deland

4:00 pm- Approximate arrival back in The Villages
