D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is the oldest brewery in America, still family-owned and operated today.  Yuengling expanded into Florida in 1999 with the purchase of the Stroh’s brewery in Tampa, FL.  In 2023, the opening of the Yuengling Draft Haus & Kitchen brought a new beer and food destination in Uptown Tampa that brings some of that Pottsville, PA brewing history and mystique right here to Florida!

Learn the story of Yuengling and see the facility on a one-hour tour followed by a beer tasting.

*The tour includes multiple flights of stairs, uneven and potentially wet surfaces, and varying temperatures. Guests MUST be able to climb stairs independently and walk safely through the facility. We recommend close-toed shoes for this experience, but they are not required.

Itinerary:

10:30 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

10:50 am- Depart Brownwood- behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

12:00 pm- Tour & Lunch

5:00 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, tour & beer tasting, bus driver tip & a bottle of water. Host gratuity is not included. Lunch purchase is on your own.
